About the company
One Eye Wilde was founded with a singular mission: to provide a feminist voice in the film industry.

A native of Cleveland, OH, Nonie Shiverick has always been inspired by creative pursuits. As a teenager, watching the behind-the-scenes footage of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, she fell in love with film as a technical medium.
After a brief detour in the world of ballroom dance, Nonie ended up on a filmset practically by accident. After pursuing acting for a few years, she found she kept writing stories in her head that she wished would be made. Realizing Hollywood would never read her mind, and finally believing her mother that βthe world needs more feminist writers,β Nonie began writing.
She started One Eye Wilde, initially as a vehicle for her own projects, but with a much greater vision: to tell female-focused stories with wide appeal.
The company is named after her beloved one-eyed orange cat, Oscar the Wilde, who does not appreciate this honor whatsoever.
Oscar in all his one-eyed, judgmental glory.
